EDUsummIT 2017
EDUsummIT 2017 is the fifth International Summit on Information Technology (IT) in Education (EDUsummIT 2017) to be held in Borovets, Bulgaria, on September 18-20, 2017. EDUsummIT 2017 is co-hosted by the University of Library Studies & Information Technologies, Sofia, Bulgaria, and the Netherlands Institute for Curriculum Development.
With theme “Rethinking learning in a digital age”, EDUsummIT 2017 aims at bringing together around 150 distinguished policy-makers, educators, researchers and representatives of the corporate sector from across the world to discuss key emerging issues concerning the use of IT in education. The Summit will look at various initiatives at regional, national, and international levels to address successfully the challenges educational systems face in the digital age.
The research process of EDUsummIT will begin online in March and culminate in the face-to-face meeting in Borovets, Bulgaria. Attendees are expected to actively contribute to one of the nine Thematic Working Groups before, during and after the EDUsummIT.
