January 2020: The UNESCO Chair, presented by Deputy Chair Prof. DSc Tania Todorova was co-organizer of the 28th edition of the international students’ symposium BOBCATSSS. BOBCATSSS is an international annual symposium which addresses hot topics for librarians and information professionals in a fast-changing environment. It is created by and for students, teachers, researchers and professionals in the library and information field. In 2020, the main Theme of Bobcatsss, held in Paris, 22-24 January 2020, were “Information Management, Fake News and Disinformation” (https://bobcatsss2020.sciencesconf.org/). The Bobcatsss2020 were professional collaborative work of the organizing teams from Université Gustave Eiffel, Paris and University of Library Studies and Information Technologies, Sofia, Bulgaria. We could underlined the international scope of the event (more than 216 participants from 20 countries, EU, Japan, UK and USA), the hospitality of the Université Gustave Eiffel, and the role of BOBCATSSS Association (A.K.A. EUCLID – European Association of Library and Information Science Education and Research). Prof. Todorova and ULSIT team continue to contribute for the in-coming BOBCATSSS 2021. With the main Theme “Digital Transformation” https://bobcatsss.info/category/bobcatsss-conference/bobcatsss2021/, it will organize by Polytechnic of Porto (ISCAP – Accounting and Business School), University of Library Studies and Information Technologies, Sofia and University of Leon, Spain.
